ROMP Shock Guard, STEALTH BLACK
The ROMP Shock Guard is last bash guard you’ll ever need. Utilizing a highly resilient rubber, our in-house designed Shock Guard is developed to withstand the outdoor elements and the trials of daily commuting.
Rain. Road Crud. Curb Smashes. You name it. It can handle it.
The ROMP Shock Guard replaces the stock risers on Boosted Boards and protects your deck in the event your board takes an unexpected run into the curb.
What’s the difference between a tradition bash guard and the ROMP Shock Guard? The specially formulated rubber of the Shock Guard allows the already essential eBoard accessory to have multiple functions.
Doubles as a Shock Pad: The ROMP Shock Guard will reduce road vibration and improve ride comfort.
Minimizes Impact Forces to Deck Screws: Unlike common plastic bumpers, the ROMP Shock Guard’s rubber formulation minimizes impact forces to the deck screws, adding more value to an already essential accessory.
Shatter-Proof: Your investment will remain protected, no matter how many curbs you throw at it.
Rest Your Board in Peace: When mounted as a tail guard, the rubber composition prevents your board from sliding and falling when vertically rested on a wall, particularly when rested on a hard, slick surface.
The Shock Guard is compatible with Boosted Boards Stealth, Plus, V2 and V1 models as well as Backfire boards, such as the G2S, G2T, and G3 models. This product is NOT compatible with Boosted Mini S/X.
Please Note: Longer Deck Screws are required when mounting the Shock Guard with the stock extended risers (i.e. for those with XR batteries). We recommend 1.75'' to 2'' deck screws.

ROMP Shock Guard, STEALTH BLACK
Came all good
Purchased Boosted Stealth (Oct 2019) & Ordered a pair shortly after. Great product, helps with vibration, better than flatlands in my opinion (I have both sets).
Disappointed in the lack of clarity about compatibility. If you have a riser for the extended battery (standard on stealth), you must purchase longer deck screws. YES this information is included in their "How to" blog post, but there is nothing stating that you need to read it if you own the stealth or riser blocks for the extended battery. However, this means the romp shock guard is NOT compatible with your stealth without purchasing longer deck screws AND cutting the cable support arch as well.
Please be more clear about who needs to read that blog post prior to buying these.
They do their job. They install easily. I've only had it for a month but it seems to last pretty well. The one thing I should point out is that is that it is way thinner than the Boosted Board + spacer so you may want to get an additional small spacer which you can puchase from any number of vendors. Also, this can't be used for the rear guard because it has no clasp for the wires.
The product is awesome because it is a shock pad and bumper guard all in one. This helps as there is limited “bolt space”. Only thing I don’t like is that there is no included wire brackets for the rear of the board. Otherwise would be 5/5 stars.
